Text Box: I find this awkward to talk about and please don’t mention my name but I have an excessive amount of labial tissue and it can prove embarrassing. It will sometimes hang out of my bathing suit and often gets irritated by my undergarments. What can I do about it?  

 

 

 

Text Box: Traditionally simple removal of excess tissue has been a satisfactory solution. Occasionally, however, scarring can distort the tissues and may even cause pain during intercourse. Plastic surgeons have developed a way of limiting the scarring to the tissues toward the front where most of the excess is. The scar can be made in such a way the it does not show, does not interfere with normal sensation and won’t contract to potentially cause pain.
