Text Box: I have some irregularities after liposuction. What can be done about them?

Text Box: It is not uncommon to have one or two areas that develop slight indentations after liposuction regardless of the area of the body operated on. Usually these are so slight as to not be readily noticeable and they are often left alone. If the indentation or fullness is a little more noticeable, then touch up lipoplasty of the fullness or of the area around the indentation can resolve it. If the indentations are numerous and widespread then correction is much more difficult. It may mean your surgeon tried to remove too much fat. The only way I know to correct this is to harvest fat cells from another part of your body and selectively, carefully inject the areas of indentation. Massage, endermology and ultrasound treatments afterwards may help but often more than one session of fat injection will be required. Even with careful attention and meticulous treatment, large areas of irregular contour will probably never be smooth. Happily, extreme irregularities are virtually never seen when liposuction is performed by properly trained and experienced surgeons.
